This is an instrumental collection of old material, which has as its common denominator style raw and sampled, with influences from soul, funk, rock late 60's, the Italian music. The project was born from three beats have already been published on SoundCloud months ago and had to be an instrumental EP of 5 tracks on the same style (funk samples, repetitive pounding, plans out of the norm and BPM crazy), but not was never completed. Given the long period of inactivity, I decided to combine those three tracks to another old material (mostly of 2009) that would be very hard to become the basis for the songs, the instrumental nature as an end in itself. 1. New features coming for PDF / A

I have already dealt in the past the possibility of creating documents in PDF / A using free tools lawfully.

remember that you currently use Version 1 format PDF / A , defined PDF/A-1 .

which defines two levels of compliance for PDF files:

• PDF/A-1a
• PDF/A-1b

level PDF/A-1b only guarantees reliable reproduction of the visual appearance of the document. The level
PDF/A-1a covers all requirements of PDF/A-1b also include the document structure defined "tagged" .

A new version, PDF/A-2 , Is being in preparation by the responsible Technical Committee. From the information currently available, this standard should be backwards compatible, or the documents currently available PDF/A-1 should also conform to PDF/A-2.

In this post I will deal briefly with an interesting news which concerns the software PDF Creator, now in release 1.0.1

The new release of PDF Creator 1.0.1 introduced some interesting news, including segnalo:

1. News about free software in Windows to produce files in PDF / A

In my previous post 1 March 2010 I discussed at length the characteristics and the production of PDF files / A wide variety of purposes, but in particular to attach to chamber practice.

recall that since January 15, 2009 must be produced in PDF / A (to be exact, at least in format PDF/A-1b) all electronic documents supporting acts for which the law prescribes Released by registration or filing in the Companies Register .

2. Download PDF Creator Version 0.9.9

This software can be downloaded legally and free at

For fans of computer science installing Ghostscript may be used directly in the latest version by downloading it from:

But this is a more challenging installation mode from the technical point of view, I would like to advise the user policy.

3. Uninstalling previous versions

If you have a previous version of PDF Creator old I recommend you do before installing the new version, the uninstall control panel from the previous version.
To enter Installation applications :

• Click Start (or start) at the bottom right
• Click Settings
• Enter Control Panel
• Locate the Add / Remove Programs icon and open it by double clicking

To uninstall PDF Creator identified in the application list and choose Remove

It may be appropriate uninstall another component , starting with version 0.9.7, PDFCreator style includes an application toolbar, the PDF Forge Toolbar. 5. Using PDF Creator Version 0.9.9

Step 1 From the program we are using (Word, Excel, Power Point, dedicated software ...) start printing
Step 2 choose the PDF Creator virtual printer

We complete Step 3 any information to be attached to the file that will produce as indicated in the screen that appears (author, date ...), do not modify the document filename of the first box, indicate the source.

After this step click the Save button at the bottom right corner.

Step 4 On the next screen and establish a folder for the file , the name for the file format and, in cases such as PDF, but it could also be PDF/A- 1b , PDF / X and so on.

6. Advanced security and protection of PDF Creator

Another important function of this software is the possibility of applying different levels of security to the PDF file produced.
To apply the various possible protection to the PDF file proceed as follows

Step 1 From the program we are using (Word, Excel, Power Point, dedicated software ...) start printing
Step 2 choose the PDF Creator virtual printer

We complete Step 3 any information to be attached to the file that will produce as indicated in the screen that appears (author, document date ...), do not change the file name of the first box, indicates the source file
Step 4 Before you click Save Options, click the choice and the following screen will appear

In this display can handle a variety of options for different file types. If we choose the PDF format we can protect the file with encryption, also set a password at our option is open or edit the document.
