Legalmail LDIF

The increasing necessity of having a certified e-mail made you buy a box Legalmail.

probably the first access you begin to configure it to use it better, you have activated the spam filters, the historical archive, the SMS ... All

proceed in the best until you try to export your address book from Outlook Express to your box Legalmail.

At this point a message appears informing you that you have to have the export file in LDIF format ... Outlook Exspess categorically refuses to give in its export formats. Probably
'll see throughout the procedure, CSV or TXT file will get but what about the format LDIF nothing to do!
While you are considering the need to manually enter all the addresses (a few hours work because there are hundreds) maybe try a search on the Internet. If you arrived at this page
rasserenatevi that there is a solution, but their proper order.

RASSERENATEVI

You are not wimps, the problem stems from a flaw in Outlook Express and not by your inability technique!

First solution (recommended)
If you used a decent mail program such as Thunderbird (which is always free and can be downloaded from http://www.mozillaitalia.it/thunderbird/ ) would not have no problem, this email client has native export LDIF. So
:
a) downloaded and installed Thunderbird,
b) export the address book from Outlook Express to Thunderbird (easily doable),
c) exported from Thunderbird address book in LDIF format and loaded Entries in this file Legalmail.
You will get two products in the category in Legalmail imported correctly and have a decent mail client.

Second solution
If you do not want to give up the mail client you use a small program used to convert WAB to CSV or LDIF then:
a) download a conversion program categories, I suggest the free program downloaded from the website
http://htmole.altervista.org/info/dawn.htm
b) install and run the wizzard dawn to convert WAB file in CSV or LDIF.
Note that this software works only on Windows systems.

Third Solution
Works with all operating systems because they operate on the Web
You need to have the book file in VCard format, if your mail client provides you with this format you are half done otherwise proceed in this way.

Starting from the CSV format (using the comma as a field separator) through the site
http://homepage.mac.com/phrogz/CSV2vCard_v2.html
converted into vCard format, saving the result to file.

Now through the site
http://labs.brotherli.ch/vcfconvert/
open the file that you saved in the vCard format, select the format conversion and convert to LDIF LDIF format

add that in this case works on the web, this free service providers ensure that the conversion will use the data for other purposes (eg SPAM) but I prefer to leave it as a third choice.
